John Dzwonczyk founded JGD Associates, Inc. in 1995 after a career in petroleum marketing at Getty Refining and Marketing Company, Sohio Oil Company, and BP Oil Company. He is an experienced public speaker and writer and holds a master's degree in civil engineering from Villanova University. John is a nationally recognized expert in the design of service stations and additionally serves as Board Chairman of Avon Lake Board of Municipal Utilities, a provider of water and sewer services to over 200,000 people.
Milan Atanaskovic is a Managing Partner. Milan served 15 years in the automotive industry for a major oil company. Serving on multiple technical, human resource and environmental compliance committees during his time in the automotive industry. His passion for project management lead him to a role with a local engineering firm where he served the petroleum retail industry as a Project Manager. His responsibilities included facility rebranding and permitting. The firm was purchased by a publicly traded, lighting and graphics manufacturing company. Milan was managing complex corporate rebranding programs and was eventually promoted to Senior Project Manager. After nearly a decade of service Milan joined JGD Associates as a Project Manager in 2007, in time he was promoted to Operations Manager. After several years of serving clients and growing client relationships Milan was promoted to Managing Partner. Today the organization is growing and most recently has added above ground storage tank inspection capabilities to the services offered to clients. Milan is an expert in environmental compliance matters pertaining to underground and above ground refueling systems, and has extensive experience in image and sign roll-out programs.
Donald J. Kaspar
Donald J. Kaspar - Registered Architect, is a Staff Architect with 29 years experience in a professional Architects office. He has been involved in many site and roofing projects since 1986. He has been involved from initial layout to final completion. Donald holds a Bachelors and a Professional degree from Kent State University.
Pat Jameson is a project manager with extensive experience in the retail petroleum industry, having spent many years with TravelCenters of America/Petro Stopping Centers and Burns Bros. Travel Stops. He has experience in conceptual design of retail fueling facilities, buildings, maintenance shops, remodels, and site/parking design. He has worked in all phases of projects from environmental and planning/zoning/site plan approval to design and construction phase tasks.
He has a BA from Santa Clara University and a JD from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College.
Tim Golay is a Retired Assistant Fire Chief/Fire Marshal- with 30 plus years, Tim has extensive experience in the Fire Service and Life Safety. As Asst. Chief/Fire Marshal with the City of Avon Ohio, Tim was responsible for plan reviews regarding both City Planning and Construction. Tim was also responsible for the Fire Prevention Bureau and its activities. As the FPB Leader, Tim is responsible for designing and implementing the ISO improvement program resulting in a rating jump from a 5 to a 2 in 7 short years. Tim also spent time as the Team Leader and Lead Instructor for the Lorain County Hazardous Materials Response Team, Adjunct Faculty Ohio State Fire Academy, CCC Instructor and LCCC Instructor. Tim remains an active member of the Ohio Fire Chiefs Association and sits on the Legislative Committee. Tim carries FFII, FSI, Fire Instructor and EMT Certifications.
Douglas Jewel - is both a Professional Engineer as well as a second generation Professional Surveyor with a BSCE from Ohio University. He has 20 plus years of experience in projects ranging from cell towers; municipal, residential and commercial site construction; municipal, county and major airports; underground and overhead fiber optic; oil & gas development; roadway & highway projects along with 15 years of both Project and Personnel Management. Strong leadership skills, self reliance and a commitment to excellence were ingrained in Douglas as an Eagle Scout and they continue to be an integral part of the professional success and profitability that he bring to clients.
